Even though Pollock has been regarded as an inferior fish in Britain, it goes by more than fifty names. The Tandoor is as Cylindrical clay oven from India, usually used for cooking over wooden fire or gas. The oven becomes immensely hot, as the temperature can approach 600°c, but the clay can also be used to bake bread. This cooking method comes closest to cooking over an open fire without actually cooking over an open fire.
